District Administration of Kinnaur(in Himachal Pradesh) has temporarily suspended all adventure activities in the district till July 25.
In an advisory, Officiating Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Surendra Singh Rathod said that the decision was taken after warning of bad weather or very heavy rainfall was issued by the Meteorological Department Shimla.
The department expects inclement conditions to continue till July 25, 2022.
Notification has been issued in this regard by District Magistrate Kinnaur under Section 34 of the Disaster Management Act 2005. However he said that the registration and other preparations of Kinnar Kailash Yatra would continue, the Yatra would take place in August.
Moreover decision regarding giving exemption in this matter would be taken in the next review meeting which is scheduled for July 26, 2022.
