More than 40 people are feared dead or missing after a boat carrying migrants to Europe got wrecked off the Libyan coast, about 60 people rescued.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) confirmed that most survivors were from Sudan, with people from Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia making up the rest of the survivors. The agency has appealed to the EU states for providing assistance, like using their own vessels, and the lifting restrictions on NGOs who run rescue ships.
