Finance Minister Mrs Nirmala Sitaraman is conducting a series of meetings to discuss ways to simplify the process of filing GST returns and make it more user friendly. The Ministry of Finance announced that the Finance Minister met people from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Rajasthan Tax Consultant’s Association, Laghu Udyog Bharati and Configuration of All India Traders in New Delhi.
The Ministry of Finance wants that an extensive nation wide consultation should be held on the new GST returns system which is planned to be launched in the next financial year.
