In a bid to promote gastronomy based tourism and highlight Madhya Pradesh’s rich traditional cuisine MP is all set to host the ‘Royal Cuisine Food Festival’ from December 26 onwards. The festival would be hosted at the International Convention Centre, Minto hall in Bhopal. The festival which would be inaugurated by Chief Minister Kamal Nath would showcase authentic Royal cuisine of several Royal families from various regions of Madhya Pradesh- Rewa, Jhabua, Bhopal, Sailana, Holkar, Narsinghgarh, Garha, Kurwai, Jaura etc.
A total of 15 Royal families would be participating at this 4 day event along with their chefs. Various celebrity Chefs such as Shailendra S Jaggi, Mariam H Reshi, Lata Tandon, Harpal Singh Sokhi and Ravikanth Reddy would also participate in the festival. So as to promote the event a host of well known food bloggers and writers would grace the occasion as well. Besides Royal cuisine the festival would feature Sufi music performances, Gazal and instrumental performances.
