Piaggio vehicles, the Italian light vehicles manufacturer two has revealed its plans to introduce electric three wheelers in the Indian market. The multinational brand which is best known in India for its scooters aims to introduce these ecofreindly three wheelers by the middle of this year declared the MD& CEO of the company. Piaggio sells vehicles both in the passenger and commercial segments.
Addressing the press Diego Graffi the MD & CEO of Piaggio vehicles described India as a growing market which is investing heavily on electric vehicles. He said that the demand for such ecofreindly options is expected to spike at an unprecedented rate and expressed his hope that his company would fill the void.
