The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announces Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment on February 1, 2019. The candidates can apply online from February 01 till February 25, 2019 on www.ssc.nic.in. The official notification hasn’t disclosed the total number of vacancies this time but it shows that competitive examination will be held from September 23 to 27, 2019 and the selected candidates will be recruited as Junior Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) in various central government departments.
The Selection method includes a Computer Based Objective Type Test of 100 marks and the candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of computer based test will be called for written examination of 300 Marks.
The age limit for JE (Quantity Surveying and Contracts) in Military Engineer Services is 27 years as on August 01, 2019.
The age limit for JE (Civil) in Department of Posts is 27 years.
The age limit for JE in Central Public Works Department and Central Water Commission is 32 years. While for the rest departments, it has been kept at 30.
