Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency (PC) in Jammu & Kashmir would be going to polls in 3 parts in Phase III, Phase IV and Phase V of General Elections 2019. This is the only such Parliamentary Constituency in the country to witness a three part polling. The Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency (PC) includes the The Four districts of Anantnag, Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama.
The polling would be held on 23rdApril in Anantnag, on 29th April in Kulgam, and in Shopian and Pulwama on 6th May. All the seats of the Parliamentary Constituency belong to the General category. 1,842 polling stations have been set up for Anantnag Polls. This year’s general elections sees a 7.08% increase in Electors compared to last General Elections.
