India to sign Kartarpur Corridor pact

India is keen on signing an agreement on Kartarpur Corridor with Pakistan. The MEA has declared that India and will sign a MOU in this regard with Pakistan on Wednesday for the opening of the Kartarpur corridor which will link two venerated Sikh shrines on either side.

New Delhi has requested Islamabad to reconsider its policy of charging 20 dollars service fee per pilgrim.

India has repeatedly urged Pakistan that such a heafty sum should not be charged from the pilgrims.

The 550th Birth Anniversary of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Devji will be slated to be celebrated on November 12, 2019.
